This study reports the synthesis of a novel Z-scheme heterojunction composite film comprising Ag/Bi2MoO6/BiOBr via electrochemical processes, ion-exchange techniques, and subsequent photodeposition of silver nanoparticles. The incorporation of Ag nanoparticles exploits localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effects and serves as an electron mediator, establishing a Schottky barrier that suppresses charge recombination. The optimized 1.5% Ag/Bi2MoO6/BiOBr film achieves a CO production rate of 13.65 μmol/(g·h) from photocatalytic CO2 reduction, significantly outperforming the unmodified Bi2MoO6/BiOBr film. Photocurrent and impedance analyses confirm enhanced charge separation in the Ag-modified composite. A non-linear relationship between Ag loading and photocatalytic efficiency was observed, with optimal performance at 1.5% Ag. The proposed Z-scheme mechanism elucidates the synergistic interactions among components, providing a scientific basis for rational design of advanced photocatalysts and immobilized systems for CO2 reduction. This work offers insights into the development of efficient, sustainable photocatalytic technologies for carbon capture and utilization.

Phytoplankton are highly sensitive to environmental changes and respond rapidly, making their community dynamics crucial early warning indicators of lake ecosystem health. Previous studies have qualitatively analyzed the combined effects of multiple physicochemical water quality factors on phytoplankton communities, but few have quantitatively distinguished direct from indirect effects. This study employed correlation analysis, redundancy analysis, and structural equation modeling to investigate the spatiotemporal distribution of phytoplankton communities in Baiyangdian Lake and their driving factors. A total of 113 species belonging to 57 genera and 7 phyla were recorded. Phytoplankton density exhibited significant seasonal and spatial variability, peaking in summer. Diatoms and green algae dominated in spring, transitioning to cyanobacterial dominance in summer and autumn, and reverting to green algae in winter. Structural equation modeling revealed that water temperature had a total positive effect on phytoplankton biomass (β = 0.96), comprising a direct positive effect (β = 0.94, P < 0.05) and an indirect positive effect via increased abundance (β = 0.02). Total nitrogen (TN) had a negative total effect on biomass (β = -0.98), with a direct negative effect (β = -0.97, P < 0.05) and an indirect negative effect via reduced abundance (β = -0.01). TN also negatively affected abundance (β = -0.15, P < 0.05). These findings provide a scientific basis for ecosystem health assessment, eutrophication control, and biodiversity protection in Baiyangdian Lake.

The precise separation of enantiomers is essential for developing effective chiral drugs, yet conventional membranes are constrained by the ubiquitous selectivity-permeability trade-off and low flux, limiting scalable production of single-enantiomer drugs. Herein, we present a cascade reaction strategy integrating Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling and Friedel-Crafts alkylation to fabricate porous conjugated microporous polymer membranes (CCMP-M P1–4/SiO2). This approach enhances specific surface area by 400-fold compared to the product from the Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling reaction alone, creating interconnected porous networks that facilitate mass transport. This hypothesis was confirmed by pore-size gradient experiments, which revealed a critical size-matching effect: matched molecular dimensions enable high-speed mass transfer with 97% enantioselectivity, while mismatch reduces selectivity to 9%, as visualized in a separation performance matrix across four chiral molecules. Precise chiral recognition is programmable via absolute configuration control of chiral monomers, with the mechanism of “preferential adsorption–interfacial enrichment–promoted diffusion” confirmed by static adsorption and density functional theory calculations. This strategy achieves breakthrough performance: Naproxen flux reaches 37 mmol m−2 h−1, surpassing literature values, and enables membrane-based separation of Raceanisodamine (89% selectivity of 6S, 2′S and 6R, 2′R-isomer after cascade enrichment) for the first time. This work provides a new paradigm for designing high-performance chiral separation membranes, facilitating scalable and sustainable production of single-enantiomer drugs.

The shipping industry's carbon emissions have drawn increasing attention. This study quantifies the carbon footprint of ship supply chains across their life cycle to identify key emission stages and reduction potentials, promoting green transformation. Based on life-cycle theory and using process analysis, a carbon footprint assessment model was constructed covering raw material acquisition, construction and assembly, transportation and distribution, and scrapping and recycling. The model was applied to a case ship, followed by multi-scenario and sensitivity analyses. Results show that the transportation and distribution stage is the dominant source of positive emissions, accounting for 88.73% of the total, while the scrapping and recycling stage provides a carbon offset benefit of 6.77%. Among five emission reduction scenarios—low-carbon materials, green energy, green logistics, circular economy, and comprehensive low-carbon—the reduction efficiencies are 2.02%, 0.06%, 18.44%, 0.42%, and 20.95%, respectively, indicating that green logistics is the core pathway for decarbonizing ship supply chains. Under the green logistics scenario, optimizing the LNG carbon emission factor yields more significant reduction effects. This study provides a life-cycle perspective on the carbon footprint structure of ship supply chains, offering theoretical references for identifying key reduction links and optimizing low-carbon technology pathways.

Oil-contaminated water poses severe ecological and public health risks, yet conventional treatment technologies are hindered by complex processing and low selectivity. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and their composites, with tunable pore structures, high surface areas, and controllable wettability, offer promising solutions. This review systematically classifies design strategies and synthesis methods for MOFs and MOF-based composites tailored for oil-water separation. We highlight recent advances, emphasizing structure–function relationships. Key performance metrics from representative studies include water contact angles up to 172.3°, separation efficiencies exceeding 99.9%, and adsorption capacities reaching 168 g·g⁻¹. Challenges such as scalability, stability, and fouling resistance are discussed, along with future directions for practical implementation.
